Welcome to Keepers of the Reef!

In early 2005 concerned aquarists saw a need for a local Reef club in the twin lakes area. Reef propagation and husbandry have now progressed to being feasible in almost all areas of this great country. Fundamentally we meet to share the ideas, successes and failures seen in our small glass encased worlds.

On a larger scale we protect the worlds reef life by containing it, propagating it and sharing it. Aquaculture of existing stocks multiplies one of the worlds true resources, its reefs while not further damaging its delicate structure.

The Keepers of the Reef has been established to unite these individuals.

KOTR Meeting December 11th 6pm

Ok so the new website is up and running well.  Most of the obvious bugs and
kinks have been worked out, we are still addressing a few minor issues.

The date of the December reef meeting has been changed to DEC 11th at 6PM.
Please respond in this forum if you are able to attend and I will be sure
to cut you a frag!

Seasons Greeting and a Christmas Party note from Sue..

Oh the holidays are so much fun.......there will be food, drinks, and lots
of fun... door prizes for who travels the greatest distance, a round of bad
santa(so be sure and bring your frags, and if you don't have any don't
worry) because I am sure you will leave with some......so bring a friend
and come visit us on December 11, for fun and games
